Things To Do In Miami

Brickell Babe Bible Miami Things To Do

We get SO many request on our favorite Miami spots, so here is our roundup!

WHERE TO STAY IN SOUTH BEACH.

  • THE 1 HOTEL one of our favorite hotels. We dream about the lobby smell. The 1 is very aesthetically pleasing hotel that is big on sustainability, art, and a healthy day/night or detox to retox lifestyle. Known for its lively rooftop party scene. The 1 Hotel is home to the only rooftop, beachfront hotel pool in Miami Beach. The 1 Rooftop is a see and be seen hot spot, from daytime, well into the night.

  • THE W SOUTH BEACH another top of the line hotel in Miami Beach, but with a slightly chiller vibe than the 1 Hotel. While the 1 Hotel is currently the top hotel in SoBe when it comes to see and be seen, party scene, and status (its also just insanely gorgeous), the W is the slightly less sceney, but equally luxe next door neighbor. Don’t worry, there is still plenty of fun to be had at this hotel.

  • MIAMI BEACH EDITION Similar to 1 Hotel or the W, another aesthetically pleasing hotel with beachfront access, stunning pools, and a delicious restaurant scene.

  • NAUTILUS a great budget friendly hotel on the beach (it has beach access) and a great pool for lounging, day drinking and snacking with friends.

WHERE TO WORKOUT.

  • SOULCYCLE SoBe, Brickell and Coral Gables locations.

  • BARRYS SoBe and Midtown locations

  • JETSET PILATES a megaformer Pilates class with SoBe and Brickell locations.

  • DANCEBODY the NYC-based cardio dance workout with a cult following has relocated from the Hamptons this summer to Miami for the winter again! Tone, tighten and dance away.

WHERE TO GO FOR COFFEE.

  • PANTHER COFFEE. Known for their high octane cold brew. Stop by the shop in the bottom on ICON.

  • RACCOON COFFEE. A local food truck located at 609 Brickell Ave along the water in the church parking lot. A great coffee selection and yummy bites if you’re looking for a quick snack!

We love their acai bowl, salmon, quinoa salad, deconstructed wraps (ask them the turn them into a bowl), and seriously so much more. You really can’t go wrong here.

  • CARROT EXPRESS is another born-in-Miami concept and one of our go-to spots. We love the Mario Bowl with the cheesy baked sweet potato.

  • GREENLIFE MIAMI is our go-to for a quick gluten free & hot breakfast, smoothies, green juice, or a salad. Bonus is that they have Panther cold brew on tap!

Miami nightlife king, David Grutman, opened his latest project in April 2021, smack dab during the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. I personally haven’t been yet, but Strawberry Moon and The Goodtime Hotel both come highly recommended for its see and be seen atmosphere.

  • VILLA AZUR come for the French-inspired Mediterranean cuisine and stay for the people watching and performances.

  • MILA best known as the first place to have fire dancers as dinnertime entertainment in South Beach. One of the more difficult reservations to get in Miami right now.

  • BÂOLI the same owners as Marion (located in Brickell), you can expect a similar vibe.

  • CHOTTO MATTE is a Japanese-Peruvian restaurant in SoBe. We went here for the first time here was with a bachelorette party and had a blast. Our waiter was very accomodating of food allergies/sensitivities. We did a prix fixe menu and it did not disappoint. A great price point for a group (READ — not too expensive) and really delicious food with ample proportions.

  • CARBONE the NYC Italian classic opened up in Miami during fall 2020, following its customers as they migrated south for the winter. Arguably the most difficult reservation to get in Miami right now. Known for their infamous homemade pasta and pasta sauce.
